Happy 2022!

The beginning of a new year symbolizes a fresh start, new goals, opportunities and sets you up for a blank canvas of possibilities.

It’s actually my favorite time of the year.

You can literally achieve anything you want in this new year and if you’ve already set your resolutions, here are a few extra tips to make sure that you stick to them throughout the year.

Set Specific & Measurable Goals.

Being vague about your goals might be tempting but you’ll be doing a disservice to yourself and business.

Be extra specific about all the goals you want to achieve in this next year.

If you want to increase your revenue what percentage would you like to increase it by each quarter?  How many employees would you like to hire? What roles would they play? How can you add another product suite to your offerings and how many would you like to sell?

The more specific your vision the easier it will be to stay on track.

The success of goals are founded in how realistic they are, so bring them to reality with tangible, solid data.

Stay Accountable.

It’s not enough to just create your goals, you have to stay accountable as the months go by and the obstacles start to pop up.

Many times we drop things when times get tough, so we need someone to help keep us on track and pushing forward.

It’s been proven over and over again that reporting to someone holds you accountable to your progress (which is why all my packages come with accountability) however, if that’s not possible, then white boards, email reminders, alarms and incentive sheets do wonders.

Do whatever you can to make it harder to use excuses.

Plan Your Days Ahead Of Time.

It’s critical for entrepreneurs and business owners to keep organized and make sure that they’re crossing off the right items at the right times.

Before starting your week, take some time to plan your week ahead by creating a to-do list and make reviewing your sales targets and goals part of it.

Continue to add goals along the way or even stretch out the ones that you’ve accomplished to hit higher goals and continue the success.

Time blocking and using a scheduling app is highly recommended, so is taking the time to continuously check-in on the progress of all your goals every quarter.

There you have it, three wonderful tips to help you keep your new year’s resolutions.

Remember, as you look to the future with high hopes, don’t forget to glance into the past to see how far you’ve come and how much you’ve learned.
